Sirius provides tailor-made maritime and crew management services with operational precision, transparent processes, and dedicated care for every vessel, seafarer, and family we support.
Sirius was founded in 1997 to manage vessels for d’Amico Società di Navigazione in Rome. Today, we operate as a trusted manning agency for over 120 vessels across various sectors, including tankers, bulk carriers, ro-ro pax, cruise ships, and yachts of all flags. With more than 5,000 seafarers from 26 nationalities and a strong global network of agents, we bring a complete 360-degree perspective to maritime operations.
What defines Sirius is not only scale, but the way we serve. Our approach is tailor-made, relationship-driven, and built around the real needs of shipowners, operators, crew members, and their families. We are officially registered in the Maritime Recruitment and Placement Services register and authorised by the Ministry of Labour. With offices in Italy and India, and a team of approximately 200 onshore professionals, Sirius delivers reliable maritime support with a personal touch.
At Sirius, we provide tailor-made maritime services designed around the specific needs of shipowners, operators, vessels, and crew. Our services combine operational expertise, financial discipline, global coordination, and personalised management to improve efficiency while keeping people at the centre of everything we do.
We develop structured budgets and salary frameworks for officers and crew, helping shipowners align personnel costs with operational goals while remaining competitive in the global maritime market. Each budgeting plan is prepared with care, clarity, and a practical understanding of vessel requirements.
Our electronic portage bill system streamlines payroll management, reduces administrative workload, and supports accurate financial handling for vessels operating worldwide. It allows ship and shore teams to manage salary components, remittances, and crew accounting with greater transparency and control.
We help shipowners monitor and manage operational expenses through detailed reporting and structured cost analysis. Our approach gives clients clear visibility over personnel-related costs, helping them make informed decisions without unexpected financial surprises.
Through negotiated and confidential travel rates, Sirius supports efficient crew and corporate travel planning across global routes. From flight coordination to travel assistance, we help ensure smooth movement for seafarers while reducing travel-related costs and delays.
